Customizing Top Stories with Preferred Sources
You can now personalize your Google Search experience by choosing which sites appear more often in Top Stories. This feature is available in the U.S. and India.
When you select your Preferred Sources, articles from those outlets will be highlighted more frequently in your results. You’ll still see coverage from other sites, but your selected sources will be prioritized when they publish relevant updates.
How to Select Preferred Sources
- Search for a news topic.
- In the Top Stories section, click the icon next to the header.
- Choose the sources you want to follow from the selection page.
- Refresh your results to see more content from your chosen outlets.
- For a simpler option to add Seeking Alpha, click here: https://www.google.com/preferences/source?q=seekingalpha.com
Where Your Sources Will Appear
- Top Stories: Articles from your selected outlets may appear more prominently.
- From Your Sources: A dedicated section on the results page with updates from the sites you’ve chosen.
You can add as many sources as you like, and you can change or remove them at any time.
