[Symbol Page](https://help.seekingalpha.com/premium?hsLang=en#symbol-page) # Advanced Chart Features: What the Various Buttons on the Advanced Chart Denote To view the Advanced Chart, open any symbol page, and next to the "**Basic**", you will see the option to click on "**Advanced**" (as shown below).   ![](https://help.seekingalpha.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2-1-png.png?width=685&height=1119&name=2-1-png.png) **Chart Type Dropdown** **-** allows you to toggle between the different chart types like bar, candle, line etc. ![](https://help.seekingalpha.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2-2-png.png?width=683&height=1011&name=2-2-png.png)![](https://help.seekingalpha.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2-3-png.png?width=684&height=1006&name=2-3-png.png) **Period -** Select the desired period (Ex. of the candle) from here. The period can be anything from minutes to days/weeks. ![](https://help.seekingalpha.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2-4-png.png?width=685&height=1024&name=2-4-png.png) **Compare (+)** - you can compare stocks easily using this feature. ![](https://help.seekingalpha.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2-5-png.png?width=685&height=1014&name=2-5-png.png) **Log** - helps you toggle between log and non-log values. ![](https://help.seekingalpha.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2-6-png.png?width=681&height=1010&name=2-6-png.png) **Percentage** - helps you to change between the percentage and absolute values. ![](https://help.seekingalpha.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2-7-png.png?width=687&height=1017&name=2-7-png.png) **Indicator dropdown** - you can choose from a comprehensive list of indicators using this button (maximum 3 can be used at a time). ![](https://help.seekingalpha.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2-8-png.png?width=678&height=1009&name=2-8-png.png) You can further change the settings of those indicators by hovering over the indicator (24H Volume in this case) and clicking the settings button pointed as below.
